I am a woman of perpetual motion.This perpetual motion stops me from just being in that moment with that person. As I spin faster and faster – I catch myself, from time to time, and pause. Breathe in. Breathe out. Stop moving. Just be.

As with many other times along this parenting journey, my current experience with my daughter has led me to take a closer look at the bigger picture, ask myself some hard questions and reevaluate some deeply ingrained patterns. What is the root of conflict?
I am currently experiencing the second big change in my work place since the autumn. Our whole unit structure is being rethought and reorganized; and this is not the end of the change. The cool thing is that this situation has brought a few empowering things to light.
